The Opportunity

FuntoNetwork is seeking a Executive Chef and Food Safety Lead for upcoming project opportunity: NCDA&CS- Operation and Management of a Modernized Restaurant Facility.

Core Responsibilities

• Execute the Executive Chef and Food Safety Lead scope for NCDA&CS- Operation and Management of a Modernized Restaurant Facility: Develop menus and production controls, oversee kitchen operations, sanitation, HACCP, allergen, health-code, and food-quality requirements.
• Establish the operating plan, service levels, staffing, routing or workflow, inventory controls, safety requirements, and escalation paths.
• Schedule and coordinate people, sites, materials, equipment, vendors, access, and dependencies for each operating cycle.
• Execute the service and maintain inventory, custody, completion, incident, exception, maintenance, and performance records.
• Reconcile outputs and service levels, correct exceptions, and submit the operating report, asset records, and acceptance or handoff package.
• Trace assigned work to the RFP scope, requirement or RTM row, deliverable, dependency, acceptance criterion, schedule milestone, and supporting evidence.
• Review official solicitation materials and addenda affecting this workstream; document assumptions, open items, exclusions, risks, and required client decisions.
• Prepare role-specific technical inputs, work products, estimates, implementation details, quality records, and proposal or post-award delivery evidence.
• Coordinate interfaces and handoffs with project management, business analysis, technical, field, quality, compliance, training, and operations workstreams.
• Maintain status, issue, decision, change, and evidence records and escalate blockers before they affect submission or delivery readiness.

What You Bring

• Demonstrated experience performing Executive Chef and Food Safety Lead responsibilities in public-sector, regulated, enterprise, or comparable environments.
• Ability to produce complete, reviewable work products tied to requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Strong documentation, stakeholder coordination, risk awareness, confidentiality, and deadline discipline.
• Relevant licenses, certifications, clearances, insurance, or local delivery capacity when required by the solicitation.
