We are looking for a Grill Cook to join our team at The Saint in The Design District! The Saint experience focuses on fresh pasta, dry-aged steaks, and options for vegetarians and vegans.
What we are looking for:
Manage the quality of food items.
Cook and plate all food according to recipe specifications.
Weigh and measure ingredients accurately.
Restock station when necessary.
Assist another station when necessary.
Must have Food Handler Safety Card.
Handle and store food products correctly, FIFO.
Must be able to assist with cleaning projects.
Braise & grill meat, vegetables, and other food with high degree of skill.
Assist in maintaining inventory levels by tracking, labeling, and replacing ingredients as needed.
Manage the quality of food items.
Weigh and measure ingredients accurately.
Communicate with Chef to ensure food is made correctly and in a timely manner.
All other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate:
Candidate must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must be a team player and have a positive attitude.
Kitchen does include vulnerability to hot kitchen elements and cleaning products.
Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule, must be able to work weekends, and holidays.
