Head of Operations

A growing manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead and oversee all operational functions across the organization. This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring smooth day to day operations while building scalable systems that support continued growth.

The ideal candidate is a strong operator with extensive manufacturing leadership experience who can successfully manage multiple departments, improve operational performance, and create a culture of accountability. This role serves as the link between customer service, manufacturing, scheduling, and quality, ensuring products are produced efficiently, delivered on time, and meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee manufacturing, customer service, scheduling, and quality operations

• Develop and manage KPIs to measure operational performance

• Build, improve, and standardize operational systems and workflows

• Create and maintain practical SOPs across departments

• Drive accountability and coach department leaders to achieve performance goals

• Coordinate cross functional teams to ensure efficient production and on time delivery

• Analyze operational performance and implement corrective action plans

• Oversee operational costing, job cost analysis, COGS visibility, and variance reporting

• Identify opportunities for automation, technology integration, and process improvements

• Evaluate capital equipment needs and support long term operational planning

• Partner with leadership on hiring, developing, and retaining high performing teams

• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of operations leadership experience in a manufacturing environment required

• Proven experience leading cross functional teams and multiple departments

• Strong background in production, scheduling, and operational planning

• Experience developing KPIs, SOPs, and scalable operational systems

• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing workflows preferred

• Experience with operational costing, job costing, and financial performance metrics

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, EOS, or other continuous improvement methodologies a plus

• Forward thinking mindset with an interest in technology and operational innovation

Salary: $1180k-$250k + Performance Bonuses
