A nationally recognized pediatric academic medical center is seeking an experienced Recruiter to support hiring across clinical research and related scientific roles. This individual will partner closely with hiring managers and research leadership to attract and hire top-tier talent supporting groundbreaking research initiatives.
This role is ideal for a recruiter who understands the nuances of sourcing and engaging research professionals in a highly specialized, mission-driven healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead full-cycle recruitment for research-focused roles, including:Clinical Research Coordinators
Research Assistants
Research Scientists
Lab Technicians and related positions
Partner with hiring managers, principal investigators, and department leadership to understand hiring needs and develop targeted recruiting strategies
Proactively source candidates through a variety of channels including LinkedIn, research networks, academic institutions, and professional associations
Screen and evaluate candidates for both technical qualifications and alignment with organizational mission and culture
Manage the interview process, ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience
Provide market insights, candidate trends, and hiring recommendations to stakeholders
Maintain accurate documentation and activity tracking within the applicant tracking system
Support offer development, negotiation, and onboarding coordination
Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and internal policies
Qualifications
Required
3–7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
Demonstrated experience recruiting for research, clinical research, or scientific roles
Experience working within healthcare, academic medical centers, or research-driven organizations
Strong sourcing skills and ability to identify niche talent pools
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred
Experience supporting hiring for grant-funded or academic research environments
Familiarity with roles within clinical trials, translational research, or laboratory settings
Experience working in high-volume or complex recruiting environments
