TheHeavyHaulOperationsManager provides strategic and operational leadership for the Heavy Haul Division. Thispositionisresponsiblefordirectingday-to-dayoperations,managingteamperformance,optimizingresources,andimplementingcontinuousimprovementinitiativestoensuresafe,efficient,andprofitableheavyhaultransportationservices.
Scope of Opportunity:
- LeadandoverseeallHeavyHaulDivisionoperations,includingplanning,directing,andcontrollingoperationalactivitieswhileensuringsafe,efficient,andprofitableservicedelivery.
- Engage incustomerandbusinessrelationships,pricingstrategies,equipmentacquisitions,andoperationalperformancetosupportbusinessgrowthandexceptionalcustomerservice.
- Drivefleetproductivityandoperationalexcellencebymonitoringkeyperformanceindicators(KPIs),analyzingtrends,andimplementingcontinuousimprovementinitiativestoenhancequality,efficiency,andprofitability.
- ProvideleadershipandsupporttoFleetManagersanddrivers,addressingday-to-dayoperational,productivity,training,service,financial,andcompliance-relatedneedswhileresolvingissuesproactively.
- EnsurecompliancewithDOTregulationsandsafetystandards,includingoversightofdrugtesting,hours-of-servicerequirements,safety-relatedmatters,investigations,correctiveactions,anddriverexitinterviews.
- Build,develop,andleadahigh-performingteambyrecruiting,hiring,onboarding,coaching,mentoring,managingperformance,andfosteringemployeeengagementandaccountability.
- Developandexecutedepartmentalbudgetsandstrategicplans,allocateresourceseffectively,superviseoperationalstaff,enhanceprocessesandtools,supportcompanycultureandcorevalues,andperformadditionaldutiesasneeded,includingoccasionaltravelandworkoutsidenormalbusinesshours.
Skillset for Success:
- Bachelor'sdegreeinBusiness,Transportation,Logistics,orarelatedfieldpreferred,oranequivalentcombinationofeducation,industryexperience,anddemonstratedsuccessintransportationoperationsleadership.
- Strongknowledgeofthecommercialtransportationindustry,includingoperations,logistics,fleetmanagement,andtransportationbestpractices.
- Results-drivenandbusiness-mindedleaderwithaprovenabilitytodriveperformance,maximizeprofitability,andachieveoperationalgoalsinafast-pacedenvironment.
- Highlyanalyticalanddata-focused, with the ability to leveragemetrics,identifytrends,solvecomplexproblems,andmakeinformedbusinessdecisions.
- ProficientinMicrosoftOfficeapplications,includingExcel,Word,andOutlook,withstrongtechnologyskillsandtheabilitytoquicklylearnnewsystemsandtools.
- Adaptable,self-motivated,andorganizedprofessionalwhocaneffectivelymanagemultiplepriorities,navigatechangingbusinessdemands,andworkindependentlywhilemaintainingattentiontodetailandconfidentiality.

Compensation & Benefits
- Total cash compensation range of this position is $80,000 to $120,000.00 which includes a base salary range of $60,000.00 to $95,000.00 plus the opportunity for monthly performance incentives. Base salary offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared to others doing substantially similar work. In addition to the base salary, employees may be eligible for performance-based incentives, which can vary depending on individual and/or company performance.
