Position Highlights

The Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant is primarily responsible to deliver personal care and closely related housekeeping services to the ill, injured, and disabled in their homes.  This position will assist in planning and providing care for Home Health patients and their families.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Annual influenza vaccinations are mandatory for all employees by December 1, unless a medical waiver is signed and approved.
• Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse course for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 30 days of employment and every 3 years thereafter.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
• Completion of 75 hour Nurse Aide Training Course required within four months of employment.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS:

• Current valid Iowa Nurse Aide certification required within four months of employment.
• Valid Driver’s license
