801 Chophouse St. Louis is looking for a Host to join our team. If you are an upbeat social person who has a passion for excellent service and fine dining and enjoys establishing genuine connections with guests, we want to talk to you.
This is a part-time non-exempt hourly front of the house (FOH) position working in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment with the highest quality food & drink. We are specifically hiring for a host who is available to work evening shifts on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. You must be available on those days.
Requirements & Expectations
Minimum of 1 year but preferably at least 2-3 years of host experience in a fast-paced, high-end, fine dining establishment. Must be available to work 3-4 shifts specifically Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings, including some holidays.
Knowledge of and ability to work within OpenTable and other computer systems.

The ideal candidate is a high-energy, detail-oriented professional who enjoys interacting with the public while maintaining a strong sense of hospitality and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to work effectively as part of a team to multi-task and to maintain focus, memory of information received.
Ability to communicate clearly in person or via telephone while demonstrating warmth & professionalism to guests in a busy, fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Ability to maintain regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
Physical Requirements
Physical ability to work on your feet, alertly, for extended periods of time. Physical ability to lift up to 30lbs. Ability to bend, reach, squat, kneel, and twist.
