Title: Host/Hostess Employment Type: Hourly
Job Description: The Host/Hostess is responsible for managing reservations, greeting and seating guests, and ensuring a welcoming and organized front-of-house experience. This role supports daily restaurant operations by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with table turnover, and providing excellent customer service in line with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage reservations and waitlists using the restaurant’s hosting system
Greet guests promptly and seat them in a warm, friendly, and professional manner
Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining areas
Assist with bussing and resetting tables as needed
Support takeout order preparation and other side work duties
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
At least 1 year of restaurant or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Friendly, professional demeanor and appearance
Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
