Description

SCHEDULE: 40 hours, Sunday -Thursday 11am-7:30pm and 40 Hours, Tuesday - Saturday 11am-7:30pm

PAYS $20.00 - $21.20 per hour, DOE (Salary ranges provided are based on relevant experience and skill set)

LOCATIONS: Within the following Boston MA work sites: Food Service Building; 414 Harrison Ave.; 434 Harrison Ave.; 444 Harrison Ave.; 363 Albany St.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Housekeeper will perform daily Bathroom/Lobby Attendant - Men's Inn, weekly, and monthly laundering and cleaning responsibilities as determined by the Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be able to work comfortably in the Men's Inn bathrooms when in full use - cleaning would take place while in use.

Requirements

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

REQUIRED:

• High school Diploma or GED
• Ability to read and understand printed labels, signage, and instructions
• The ability to understand and speak English

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

REQUIRED:

• Minimum of six (6) months of institutional or commercial industry cleaning

PREFERRED:

• Knowledge of industry standards as applied to Sanitation and General Procedures

PHYSICAL ABILITIES/SKILLS:

REQUIRED:

• Ability to perform frequent bending, standing, stooping, stretching and walking
• Ability to turn over twenty-five (25) pound mattress for cleaning
• Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
• Ability to perform frequent and repetitive motions to perform all types of cleaning functions

Salary Description

$20.00 - $21.20 per hour, DOE
