    The HR Administrative Assistant supports the HR team in a broad range of Human Resource functions including recruitment, safety, orientation, employee onboarding, and general employee life cycle needs. The HR Administrative Assistant also serves as a resource to all S&S employees, answering front line questions, providing information, assistance, and direction, and demonstrating the mission of the HR team to serve with excellence and care.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provide excellent customer service for Sight & Sound employees, with an emphasis on communications related to benefits, policies, and general information.
    • Serve as an integral member of the HR team, partnering together on special projects and routine processes.
    • Hold primary responsibility for functions such as scheduling, customer service inquiries, meeting minutes, internal employee communication, leave share, Behind the Curtain organization and execution, etc.
    • Partner closely with HR Generalists in the recruitment, onboarding, and orientation administrative processes.
    • Provide administrative support for the Director of Human Resources and the full HR team.
    • Execute orders utilizing our purchasing software and create travel reservations for the HR team.
    • Serve with the Ministry Support Team to collaborate and support teams company wide.

    Prerequisites:

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • High level of concern for the welfare of others
    • Advanced computer competency, specifically with Microsoft Office
    • Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond appropriately in difficult situations
    • Detail orientated with strong time and project management skills
    • Ability to anticipate needs of HR team members and those we serve across the organization

    The physical demands of this position are typical for a desk job. You will be at a desk most of the day, typically with the option to sit or stand. You may have to lift/exert up to 10 lbs. of force on occasion. The full physical requirements of this job are available upon request.
