About the Team: The TikTok Product & Design team is crucial to its international video business. The Product Team drives business growth, builds and maintains leading products, covering user growth, various product categories, and business analysis, while also focusing on service architecture and basic tech to ensure quality user services. The Global Design Team offers a first-rate user experience for hundreds of millions globally, enabling better creation, expression, and discovery of the world's diversity, breaking barriers, and connecting people. Comprising designers and managers from across the globe, they collaborate to turn the impossible into reality, working in unison to achieve TikTok's success.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy that directly supports engineering, security, and privacy operations roadmaps.
  • Act as the primary HRBP for a dedicated global department, managing end-to-end generalist and business partner duties across multiple time zones and cross-functional teams.
  • Provide strategic coaching to leaders on organizational design, effectively structuring global teams to rapidly adapt to external regulatory pressures and internal security initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on talent assessment, career pathing, and succession planning for highly specialized roles within Engineering, Privacy, Security, and Trust & Safety functions.
  • Lead the proactive resolution of complex employee relations issues globally, mitigating risk while preserving a culture that champions innovation and psychological safety.
  • Oversee the full-cycle performance management process, tailoring goal-setting and calibration sessions to evaluate highly technical and operational outcomes.
  • Leverage people data and analytics to provide actionable insights on team health, retention bottlenecks, and organizational scale within a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with global HR peers and Centers of Excellence (CoEs) to design customized compensation, engagement, and talent acquisition solutions.

  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, with 2+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships with business leaders.
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed, and multicultural organization, with the agility to adapt HR strategies to evolving business needs.
  • Proven ability to lead and execute talent management, organizational design, and performance management strategies in complex, high-growth environments.
  • Expertise in leveraging data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel, Power BI) to extract insights, inform strategic decision-making, and measure the impact of HR programs.

Preferred Qualification(s):

  • Experience supporting organizations in a global high-growth technology environment with regulatory compliance and security-related requirements.
