The HR Coordinator provides day-to-day support across Human Resources and Finance team, with the primary focus on HR operations and employee support. This role supports employees and managers throughout the employee lifecycle, from recruiting and onboarding through benefits, payroll, employee records and offboarding.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable handling confidential information and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do
Assist with new hire onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, systems updates and coordination with internal teams.
Prepare employee communications, forms, reports and other HR materials.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
Support HRIS administration, including employee updates, reporting, and routine system maintenance.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Organize and participate in employee engagement activities, events and company initiatives.
Contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Handling general HR administrative duties, including filing, correspondence, and data entry.
Assist with company recruitment, by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews and candidate communications.
Managing incoming calls and inquiries on the organization’s main line, directing, and assisting callers with appropriate information and allocation.
Assist in streamlining and improving processes.
Assist in commissions reporting.
Review payroll for processing.
Other responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in Human Resources, HR administration, or a related field.
Strong Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to leverage technology and AI as a toolset in support of the position.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Experience with an HRIS/payroll platform.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with employees, managers and external partners.
Experience with benefits administration and employee onboarding.
Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, or expense management.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting HR in a small or mid-sized organization.
Experience with payroll or HRIS administration.
SHRM, PHR, or other recognized HR certification preferred.
