Work Location: On-site / Hybrid (Split between Seattle Clinic and Vashon Island)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM - Seattle Clinic (Monday and Thursday), Vashon Island (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday)

The Human Resources Generalist supports the HR Director and Chief People Officer in executing day-to-day HR operations and serving as a trusted advisor to employees and management. This role balances daily administrative function with critical employee relations, compliance, and credentialing tasks in a culturally sensitive healthcare environment.
Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage full-cycle recruitment, job postings (UKG Ready, Indeed, specialized job boards), offer letter generation, orientation coordination, and onboarding documentation.
Employee Relations & Policy: Provide guidance to managers regarding performance management, disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, policy interpretation, workplace investigations, and corrective actions.
Leave & Accommodations Administration: Administer leave programs (FMLA, ADA, PFML, USERRA) and handle reasonable accommodation requests while maintaining strict compliance records.
Credentialing & Compliance: Manage provider credentialing and privileging processes, including primary source license verifications and re-credentialing tracking.
HRIS & Reporting: Maintain personnel records in UKG Ready, perform data audits, generate HR reports, and collaborate with payroll to resolve discrepancies.
Benefits Support: Assist with routine benefits administration and annual open enrollment processes.
Required Experience & Skills
Experience: 2-3+ years of progressive HR Generalist experience, preferably within a healthcare or clinical setting.
Compliance Knowledge: Practical working knowledge of FMLA, ADA/ADAAA, FLSA, EEO, HIPAA, OSHA, and Washington PFML.
Technical Proficiency: Experience using HRIS platforms (UKG Ready highly preferred) and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Core Competencies: Strong grounding in employee relations handling, LOA processing, and formal recordkeeping with high confidentiality and discretion.
Preferred Experience
Experience operating within tribal, federally regulated, or community-based healthcare environments.
Familiarity working with American Indian/Alaska Native communities and a commitment to supporting culturally appropriate healthcare delivery.
