Human Resources Manager
Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a high energy, employee focused, hands-on bilingual Human Resources Manager to join our team located in Tulsa, OK. Successful candidates will be dependable, approachable, capable of handling a broad range of HR responsibilities with minimal supervision, and fluent in both English and Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Manage employee life-cycle processes (onboarding through offboarding)
- Assist employees with benefit-related questions
- Manage employee relations including investigations, progressive discipline, performance management and conflict resolution
- Help develop and implement HR policies and procedures
- Coordinate with safety personnel regarding workers' compensation and leave administration
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations
- Support training and employee development initiatives
- Mentor and train HR Assistants and junior personnel as appropriate
Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- At least five (5) years of HR experience demonstrating a progression of responsibility is required; manufacturing, industrial, and/or multi-location experience highly preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices; HR Certification is advantageous
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Computer proficiency using MS Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
- Experience with Safety and/or Worker's Compensation claim management is preferred
