HR Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Own day-to-day HR operations and serve as the primary resource for employee and manager HR needs
- Manage and optimize the HRIS, maintaining accurate employee data, records, and compliance
- Lead benefits administration, open enrollment, employee education, and vendor relationships
- Oversee employee relations, performance management, workplace concerns, and disciplinary matters
- Ensure federal, state, local, and multi-state employment compliance
- Develop and improve HR policies, programs, and processes to support continued organizational growth
HR Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of HR Operations, HR Generalist, or related experience
- Strong hands-on HRIS experience; Rippling highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment law and multi-state compliance
- Experience managing benefits and working with external brokers/vendors
- Hands-on employee relations experience with the ability to advise managers independently
- Experience in a high-growth or scaling organization preferred
- Technology, robotics, hardware, manufacturing, or engineering industry exposure is a plus
- SHRM, HRCI, or related HR certification preferred
