Position Title: HR Shared Service Specialist
Location: West Palm Beach, FL 33401
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week)
Duration: 12 Months
 
Position Summary:
Client is seeking an experienced HR Shared Service Specialist to join its People Service Delivery team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting HR operations, employee lifecycle events, and HRIS platforms, particularly Workday. This role focuses on delivering exceptional HR support to employees and managers while ensuring timely resolution of HR-related requests and maintaining compliance with company policies.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee and manager HR inquiries through the employee portal.
  • Provide support across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, benefits administration, employment changes, and offboarding.
  • Resolve HR requests accurately and within established service levels.
  • Support employees in utilizing self-service HR resources and maintain the internal HR knowledge base.
  • Identify process gaps, recommend improvements, and escalate policy or compliance issues when necessary.
  • Partner closely with HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence, including Payroll, Total Rewards, and Talent Acquisition.
  • Monitor service trends and proactively identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Contribute ideas to enhance HR tools, processes, and policies.
 
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable)
  • Hands-on experience with Workday HRIS
  • Experience supporting employee lifecycle events
  • Strong expertise in one or more of the following HR functions:
  • HR Benefits
  • Employee Onboarding
  • I-9 Verification Process
  • Employee Offboarding
  • Experience working with HRIS systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Quick learner with the ability to connect information across HR processes
