The One Medical (OM) PXT team seeks an exceptional HR Specialist to establish program management excellence and drive strategic HR initiatives. This role will implement PMO mechanisms to ensure consistent delivery across our transformation portfolio and lead critical policy work that positions One Medical for continued growth within Amazon.

You"ll influence diverse leaders while anticipating risks and planning proactively. Working closely with the OM PXT leadership team, you"ll own and execute strategic priorities that strengthen our HR foundation. As you gain deep knowledge of Amazon Primary Care and Healthcare Services, you"ll leverage your HR expertise to deliver transformative outcomes.

The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of leading large-scale programs with a strong programmatic or product mindset. You"re a hands-on builder who drives organizational change at enterprise scale. You thrive in ambiguity, connect details to the bigger picture, and maintain flexibility while diving deep when needed.

Key job responsibilities

Establish and implement PMO frameworks, tools, and processes to drive accountability and visibility across PXT initiatives

Lead the evolution and optimization of HR policies in partnership with Legal and HRBPs to align with Amazon standards and support business objectives

Partner with PXT and business leaders across Clinical Care Delivery and Clinical Operations to gather requirements and prioritize initiatives

Structure, organize, and deliver complex project plans with multiple dependencies and stakeholders

A day in the life

Your morning starts with a project status review, updating dashboards that track progress across the PXT portfolio. You identify a project at risk and quickly schedule a working session with stakeholders to remove blockers.

Mid-morning, you facilitate a policy review session with Legal and HRBPs, walking through proposed updates to ensure alignment with Amazon standards while addressing One Medical"s unique clinical environment. You document decisions, assign action items, and update the project timeline.

After lunch, you meet with Clinical Operations leaders to gather requirements for an upcoming initiative. You ask probing questions to understand their needs, identify dependencies, and assess impact across employee populations.

Your afternoon includes refining project plans, updating risk registers, and preparing materials for next week"s leadership review. You also coach a project owner on effective stakeholder communication and help them structure their approach to a complex deliverable.

You end the day reviewing incoming requests, prioritizing them against strategic objectives, and planning tomorrow"s critical path activities.

About the team

You will be joining the OM PXT Business Operations (BizOps) team. Functions of the team include business operations including the rhythm of business for OM PXT, data management and reporting, systems integration, and PM support or PMO function.
