Job Description Summary:

The HRIS Manager is responsible for the strategic administration, optimization, and governance of the organization''s Human Resources Information System (HRIS), with primary responsibility for Workday HCM and related modules. This role serves as the subject matter expert for Workday HCM business process management, learning management, reporting, configuration, workforce compliance, and work card administration. The HRIS manager partners closely with Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, Information Technology, and Operation teams to ensure system integrity, accurate workforce data, regulatory compliance, and efficient business operations.

Job Description:

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Business Process, Reporting, and Workday Learning administrator and subject matter expert for Workday HCM and related modules.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, maintenance, and support of Workday Core HCM, ensuring data integrity, system performance, and seamless execution of employment lifecycle.
  • Manage Workday releases, system enhancements, upgrades, and testing activities.
  • Ensure business processes align with organizational objectives, operational needs, and compliance requirements.
  • Establish and maintain HRIS governance, policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Lead business process reviews and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, user experience, and data quality.
  • Work closely with IT in managing HR related integrations.
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute standard, custom, and ad hoc Workday reports, dashboards, scorecards, and analytics.
  • Train leaders and HR team members on Workday capabilities and self-service reporting tools.
  • Manage assigned learning content, enrollment rules, prerequisites, certifications, and completion tracking.
  • Ensure compliance-related training programs are assigned, monitored, and documented according to organizational and regulatory requirements for internal and external audits.
  • Support regulatory reporting requirements including EEO, Nevada Gaming Control Board Regulations compliance, labor compliance, and other applicable workforce reporting obligations.
  • Lead HRIS-related initiatives, implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and process improvement projects.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to HRIS staff and cross-functional team members.
  • May supervise and provide direction to HRIS & HR Coordinators, or other assigned personnel. Responsible for coaching, performance management, and development of HRIS team members as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of Human Resources experience, with strong emphasis on HRIS administration experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on Workday administration, business process, reporting, learning, configuration, and security management experience desired.
  • Extensive understanding of end-to-end HR business processes.
  • Strong Workday Business Process Framework and workflow configuration.
  • Experience creating custom Workday reports, calculated fields, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and wage-and-hour regulations.
  • Strong understanding of HR data governance, auditing, system controls, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; familiarity with collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams

  • At least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States
