LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client in Troy, MI seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join their team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for an HR professional who has a strong manufacturing background and enjoys working closely with employees and leadership in a hands-on environment.

The ideal candidate will bring well-rounded HR experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively manage day-to-day HR needs while supporting a manufacturing workforce.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Human Resources functions and provide support to employees and leadership

• Serve as a resource for employee relations matters, workplace concerns, and HR policies

• Support recruiting, onboarding, and employee retention initiatives

• Manage performance management and employee development processes

• Assist with benefits, leave administration, and HR-related employee questions

• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation

• Support compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies

• Partner with leadership on workforce planning and organizational needs

• Support HR initiatives that promote employee engagement and a positive workplace environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required

• Previous Human Resources experience within a manufacturing environment required

• Prior HR management or HR leadership experience preferred

• Strong employee relations and conflict-resolution skills

• Knowledge of HR practices and employment regulations

• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of an organization

• Comfortable working fully on-site in Troy, MI
