Human Resources Generalist

NextStep Recruiting is partnering with a confidential manufacturing organization to identify a Bilingual Human Resources Generalist. This role will provide hands-on HR support to employees and leadership, with a focus on employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, compliance, and performance management. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, has experience supporting a manufacturing workforce, and is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and supervisors, providing guidance on employee relations, workplace policies, performance management, and conflict resolution
• Manage recruiting, hiring, onboarding, employee orientations, and training initiatives for facility personnel
• Support payroll, benefits, timekeeping, leave administration, compensation, and employee record management
• Partner with leadership to implement HR initiatives, improve processes, and ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
• Support employee engagement, workplace safety initiatives, HR reporting, and other operational projects

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3-5 years of HR experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment laws, recruiting, performance management, and HR compliance
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently; SHRM or PHR certification preferred
