The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for supporting a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, recruiting coordination, onboarding, benefits administration, and maintaining accurate employee records. This role will partner with teams across the organization to help ensure efficient HR processes, promote a positive employee experience, and support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.

Requirements


  • At the core, this position will help recruit and retain talent for a critical and growing business unit
  • This individual will be instrumental in bolstering the culture, enhancing the employee experience, and ensuring project teams are positioned for success
  • This role will partner closely with the Corporate Human Resources team to ensure initiatives are successfully carried out within the business unit
  • Recruit talent by utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, ZoomInfo, and BambooHR ATS; identify innovative methods to attract talent
  • Partner with business unit leadership to identify development opportunities
  • Implement employee enhancement initiatives (i.e. staff recognition, mentoring program, training initiatives)
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding process; implement improvements as necessary
  • Build trusted relationships with management by providing expertise and valuable insight
  • Provide day-to-day support to business unit employees
  • Assist management with conducting effective performance reviews and providing constructive feedback to direct reports
  • Facilitate employee relocations by collaborating with Corporate HR, project teams, employees and the company relocation vendor
  • Resolve employee relations issues with the support of Corporate HR
  • Assist Corporate HR in the resolution of employee relations issues
  • Track applicable state and local compliance updates
  • Assist with college and workforce career fair recruitment efforts

Requirements:

  • Strong desire to strengthen team culture and enhance the employee experience
  • Proven ability to recruit and attract top notch candidates
  • Solid understanding of laws and regulations and the associated governance
  • Hands-on experience counseling employees on career path options, personal development opportunities, policies and procedures, and other human resources related matters
  • The ability to enhance the employee experience, assist in the development of team building efforts and support an inclusive environment for all employees is valuable in this role
  • Technology: Proficiency in basic computer software programs such as Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel), PDF writer and HRIS/ ATS is required
  • Candidate must also be able to learn company-specific software
