Human Resources Generalist

BACKGROUND: Since 1952, Beacon Group has been creating opportunities for people with disabilities across Southern Arizona, Phoenix and beyond. As a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, Beacon serves over 2,000 people with disabilities each year. Beacon provides job training and placement, supported and center-based employment, and day treatment programs to assist nearly two-thirds of working-age people with disabilities who do not have a job. POSITION INTRODUCTION: Beacon is seeking an energetic Human Resource Generalist.

This is an opportunity for a human resource professional to use their skills and experience to deliver a mission much bigger than financial results.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Recruitment.
• Onboarding.
• Training
• Employee relations.
• Some health and safety duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources management; or one to two years' human resources experience; or combination of education and experience.
• Candidates must have prior knowledge of human resources principles and practices.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be an effective communicator. CPR/AED/FA instructor certification is a plus.
