Key Responsibilities for the Human Resources Generalist:
- Manage HR operations including payroll, benefits administration, onboarding, and employee records
- Partner with managers on employee relations, performance management, and corrective actions
- Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring
- Ensure compliance with California employment laws, company policies, and wage-and-hour regulations
- Facilitate new hire orientation, training programs, and employee development initiatives
- Support investigations, documentation, and HR process improvement efforts
Qualifications for the Human Resources Generalist:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Fluent in Spanish (bilingual and biliterate)
- Working knowledge of California employment law and HR compliance practices
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting and applicant tracking systems
- PHR, SPHR, or related HR certification preferred
