JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE: Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Generalist will conduct daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, on-boarding, HR and benefits administration, employee relations and enforcing company policies and practices.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Requires a minimum of Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field from a four-year college and 2 years' experience in Human Resources in a manufacturing environment and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with other employees, Supervisors, and Managers to share information, instruct and train in company policy and procedures. Must be able to write documents and correspondence in a professional manner.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to read and interpret a variety of instructions and complex documents furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
OTHER SKILLS:
Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Excellent organizational, time management skills and attention to detail. Proven interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS related software. Requires the ability to operate various equipment to include office equipment. A broad knowledge of general manufacturing practices is preferred. Knowledge and/or familiarity with applicable ISO/TS and quality system requirements and policies is a plus.
