Human Resources Manager

Kolar Auto is looking for an experienced, organized, and motivated Human Resources Manager to join our growing team!

With multiple locations across Montana and a team of approximately 100 employees, we're looking for someone who can take ownership of our HR operations, support our employees, and help maintain a positive, professional, and productive workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee employee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Manage payroll processes, employee benefits, and personnel records.
• Administer employee health insurance, retirement plans, PTO, and other benefits.
• Ensure compliance with federal and Montana employment laws and regulations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain company policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
• Handle employee relations, workplace concerns, and disciplinary matters professionally and confidentially.
• Coordinate employee training, performance evaluations, and development.
• Work closely with ownership and management across all locations.
• Oversee HR reporting, documentation, and compliance requirements.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in Human Resources
• Strong understanding of employment laws, payroll, and benefits administration.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and support employees across several locations.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Experience with Paychex Flex or similar HR/payroll software is a plus.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to work independently.
