HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST / GENERALIST(Permanent)
Our client, an international manufacturing organization with its US headquarters in WNY, is looking to add a Human Resources Specialist / Generalist to their growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support for various HR functions, creating a professional/welcoming environment
- Support employee relations events, utilizing professionalism, sound judgment, and answering questions/concerns in a timely manner
- Achieve swift resolution to workplace concerns/incidents
- Ensure each employee case is properly documented and maintains legal compliance with federal and state HR regulations
- Gather, review, and file appropriate documentation for leave requests
- Remain up to date with benefits plans, acting as the subject matter expert for employee inquiriesâAffordable Care Act, Self-insured benefits, etc.
- Ensure compliance is maintained when filing benefits
- Juggle multiple tasks at a time in a fast-paced environment
- Work well in a team environment as well as independently
- Other duties as assigned/as necessary
Details:
- Position is full-time, direct hire
- $75,000 â $85,000 annually depending on experience
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related
- 5+ yearsâ experience in Human Resources, employee relations/compliance focused
- Professional demeanor and ability to interact with employees
- Highly confidential
- Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong organization skills, analytical, and time management skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Self-motivated
