Job Description
This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems, automation controls, and humidity control systems. The ideal candidate will also assist with general facility maintenance and work closely with our Automations team to ensure consistent environmental conditions throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC systems (Lennox, Aaon, Trane, Carrier, ICP)
Maintain and troubleshoot building automation and control systems (BAS/BMS)
Manage and maintain humidity control systems (dehumidifiers, humidifiers, sensors)
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC and facility systems
Work with cultivation staff to ensure temperature and humidity parameters are met
Identify and correct electrical, mechanical, and system control issues
Complete general facility maintenance tasks (filters, plumbing, minor electrical, etc.)
Document all work performed and maintain accurate maintenance logs
Ensure all work meets local codes, regulations, and company SOPs
Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and emergency maintenance needs
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repair
Proficiency with building automation systems (Carrier i-Vu, Growlink, Symbio 700, Carrier Navigator)
Proficient at reading blueprints, wiring diagrams and legends
Strong knowledge of HVAC controls, wiring, and humidity regulation
Strong Diagnostic skill
Universal EPA Certification (required)
Experience with Aaon, Lennox, Trane, Carrier, and ICP units (preferred)
Experience with dehumidification systems and sensors
Plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-regulation environment
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Ability to use ladders
Cannabis industry or other climate-controlled environment experience is a plus
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must have own tools to start; additional tools provided after successful completion of probationary period
