About the Role:
MindLink Resources LLC is looking for skilled Educational Interpreters in the following languages:   Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, Portuguese, Amharic, Tigrinya to support onsite appointments in Edmonds, WA. Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation during onsite educational appointments
• Facilitate clear communication between students, parents, educators, and school staff
• Interpret for IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and student support sessions
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professional ethics throughout all assignments
• Adapt communication style to meet the needs of diverse student populations
• Accurately convey tone, intent, and meaning across language barriers in real time
• Coordinate with school administrators and MindLink staff to ensure smooth appointment logistics

Requirements:

• Fluency in English and at least one additional language
• Prior experience in educational, medical, or community interpreting preferred
• Knowledge of educational terminology, IEP processes, and school systems a plus
• Strong interpersonal and active listening skills
• Ability to remain neutral, professional, and impartial in all settings
• Reliable transportation and ability to report to onsite locations in Edmonds, WA
• Interpreter certification (such as RID, BEI, or state-recognized credential) preferred
