Job Title: Payroll Specialist (1261)
Location: Lakeland, FL (Onsite – up to 2 days/week in office)
Duration: 06/08/2026 – 06/06/2027 
Pay Rate: $25.71/per hour
Shift Timings: 1ST SHIFT
 
Job Description:
Responsible for processing payroll-related garnishments and child support deductions, ensuring accurate setup, timely payments, and compliance with court orders. Role includes responding to employee and jurisdiction inquiries, maintaining accuracy in payroll systems, and supporting payroll operations using SAP.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and process garnishments and child support deductions in payroll system
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments to relevant agencies/jurisdictions
  • Respond to employee and external agency correspondence and inquiries
  • Maintain compliance with court-ordered payroll deductions
  • Work within SAP payroll system for processing and updates
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in payroll records
  • Collaborate with internal teams for payroll issue resolution
 
Required Skills:
  • Strong SAP payroll experience
  • Experience with garnishments and court-ordered deductions
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential payroll data
  • Strong communication skills for employee and agency interaction
 
Education Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
  • Relevant payroll experience may be considered in lieu of degree
