The Role
As a Dental Hygienist at our Starke location, you are a vital clinical partner in delivering outstanding oral healthcare. You will work closely with dentists and support staff to provide high-quality preventive and periodontal care while educating and empowering patients to take ownership of their oral health.
This role is ideal for a licensed hygienist who is clinically confident, patient-focused, and enjoys working in a collaborative, team-centered practice.
Key Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, periodontal therapy, and preventive services
Assess oral health conditions and document findings accurately
Take and review dental radiographs in compliance with state regulations
Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment recommendations, and preventive care
Assist dentists during exams and communicate clinical findings effectively
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and charting
Follow all infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines
Contribute to a positive, efficient, and patient-centered clinical environment
What We’re Looking For
Active Florida Dental Hygiene License (required)
CPR/BLS certification (required)
Dental loupes are required for working on patients
Previous clinical dental hygiene experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
Strong clinical skills with a gentle, patient-focused approach
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Comfortable with digital charting and dental practice management software
Team-oriented mindset with a positive, professional attitude
