About the Role We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to support and grow our industrial and commercial water treatment portfolio. This role is responsible for managing existing customer programs, driving new business development, delivering technical support, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction across cooling, boiler, closed loop, wastewater, and related water treatment applications.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and retain a portfolio of customer accounts across industrial and commercial facilities.
Conduct routine service visits including testing, system inspections, reporting, troubleshooting, and program optimization.
Develop treatment strategies and implement chemical feed/control programs to achieve operational, safety, and compliance goals.
Identify and close new business opportunities including chemical programs, equipment, service agreements, and capital projects.
Provide technical support and problem-solving for both water treatment and mechanical/process issues.
Prepare proposals, quotes, reports, KPIs, and presentations for customers and internal leadership.
Ensure programs meet profitability targets and align with commercial policies.
Collaborate with operations, technical support, and leadership to ensure exceptional customer outcomes.
Qualifications
Experience in industrial or commercial water treatment strongly preferred (boiler, cooling, loop systems, wastewater, or related process treatment).
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with pumps, controllers, feed systems, and industrial systems.
Ability to troubleshoot chemical feed equipment and system performance issues.
Proven experience in sales, account management, or field service in a technical industry.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within a geographic territory.
Preferred Experience (Not Required)
Knowledge of pretreatment equipment (RO, softeners, filtration, DI systems).
Experience with industrial facilities such as manufacturing, healthcare, data centers, food & beverage, energy, or commercial buildings.
Technical degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
