    About the Role:
    The Industrial Equipment Sales Manager is responsible for driving territory growth through consultative sales of heavy and industrial equipment solutions. This role combines mechanical knowledge, business development, and customer relationship management to expand market presence and deliver customized solutions for clients in manufacturing, quarry, and construction industries. The position requires a hands-on, self-driven professional who can identify opportunities, manage accounts, and close deals that align with company goals.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and grow a defined sales territory, focusing on industrial and heavy equipment customers.

    • Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals, trade shows, and market research.

    • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to illustrate equipment capabilities and value.

    • Lead the full sales cycle including prospecting, quoting, negotiating, and closing deals.

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

    • Collaborate with operations, service, and technical teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.

    • Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, and product innovations to inform sales strategies.

    • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and expense budgets.

    • Assist customers in understanding maintenance requirements, operational procedures, and safety standards.

    • Provide post-sale support to address customer needs and enhance long-term partnerships.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in sales or account management within industrial, heavy equipment, or manufacturing sectors.

    • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain technical equipment solutions.

    • Demonstrated success managing a territory and achieving sales targets.

    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

    • Ability to analyze market trends, customer data, and competitive activity.

    • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

    • Valid drivers license and ability to travel extensively within assigned territory.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

    • Experience in quarry, aggregate, or construction equipment sales.

    • Background in technical or consultative selling environments.

    • Familiarity with industrial equipment maintenance and operations.

    • Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.

    • Comfort with working in field environments and visiting client sites regularly.
