Summary:
Broad Function
The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for driving proactive lead generation, building and maintaining a qualified sales pipeline, and supporting regional sales teams with actionable insights. Leveraging tools such as Salesforce and Industrial Info Resources (IIR), this role identifies opportunities, tracks engagement, and ensures data-driven sales strategies. Working closely with the sales team, the specialist supports sales development efforts within a designated territory or customer portfolio by understanding customer-specific needs and identifying potential opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
- Promote, demonstrate and instill Brock's Bsafe and Bbest culture in all aspects of the business
- Drive proactive lead generation efforts through cold calling, targeted outreach, and email campaigns to expand the customer base.
- Utilize Salesforce and Industrial Info Resources (IIR) to identify opportunities, track engagement metrics, and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
- Provide warm leads and actionable insights to regional sales teams to support customer acquisition and account expansion.
- Deliver data-driven recommendations to Sales Managers to enhance territory coverage and customer engagement strategies.
- Analyze lead conversion data to refine outreach efforts and improve sales effectiveness.
- Coordinate with Marketing to align campaigns with lead generation goals and maximize inbound opportunities.
- Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, and Operations to ensure seamless customer integration throughout pre-award, award, and post-award activities.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and sales progress in the CRM system, tracking metrics to measure success
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating with internal teams, principals, and clients to address needs and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Attends to customer questions, complaints and concerns immediately, and facilitates satisfactory resolution
- Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion, etc.
- Analyze customer data to drive cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, increasing customer lifetime value.
Working Conditions
- Working conditions include outdoor and indoor fields, yards and shop locations.
- Working indoors in an office environment
- Utilization of Personal Protective Equipment is necessary.
- Frequent travel as required

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- 2+ years of experience in inside sales or business development
- Proven success in building pipelines, generating new customer opportunities, and supporting field sales teams
- Experience working in industrial industry, preferred
