Insurance Account Manager

KP Insurance Agency is a local Allstate Insurance Agency serving customers throughout Southwest Michigan. We are an award-winning, growing agency committed to providing exceptional service, trusted insurance guidance, and a great overall experience for our customers.

As our agency and customer base continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced, motivated Account Manager to join our team. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping people, takes ownership of their work, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

A successful Account Manager at KP Insurance Agency builds strong relationships with customers, provides accurate and timely service, takes ownership of customer needs, and looks for opportunities to better protect each household. There is sales expected to round out the customers household.

We want our customers to feel that they have a knowledgeable local insurance team they can rely onnot simply a company they call when they have a problem.

This role is an important part of maintaining strong customer retention while helping KP Insurance Agency continue to grow.

Salary Range: $35000.00 - $55000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Schedule: MF, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Compensation Range: $35K$55K annually (Base + Commission + Bonus)

• Friendly, professional, patient, and confident when communicating with customers.
• Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently.
• A self-starter who takes ownership instead of waiting to be directed.
• Comfortable making decisions and solving customer problems.

• Personal Lines insurance experience preferred.
• Michigan Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred. Candidates willing and able to obtain licensing may also be considered.
• Knowledge of Personal Lines insurance products and coverage strongly preferred.
• Previous insurance agency, account management, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn multiple agency systems.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume customer service environment.
