Description
Job Summary: Our client is a dynamic, rapidly expanding company offering exciting opportunities in language and cultural services, training and education, IT and cybersecurity, and intelligence (analysts, CI, HUMINT, SIGINT, and related specialties). The client's mission is to drive strategic growth by identifying, qualifying, and capturing federal contracting opportunities that expand their portfolio across U.S. government agencies. Essential Job Function:
Lead business development and capture efforts across the full federal procurement lifecycle from opportunity identification through contract award.
Build and maintain a qualified pipeline aligned with company capabilities, develop and execute win strategies, and foster strong relationships with government stakeholders and industry partners.
Support proposal development by contributing to solutioning, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning.
Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes to inform growth strategy, while maintaining accurate pipeline tracking and reporting within CRM systems.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Government, or related field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of business development, capture, or sales experience in federal contracting
Demonstrated success winning federal contracts (prime and/or subcontract)
Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and federal acquisition processes
Experience with contract vehicles (GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, GSA Schedules)
Established network within federal agencies and/or government contractors
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Desired Skills:
Experience in IT, cybersecurity, Special Operations, linguistics, intelligence, engineering, logistics, or related fields
Active security clearance (Secret or Top Secret).
Familiarity with tools such as GovWin, SAM.gov, FPDS, and USA Spending.
Capture management and/or proposal development experience.
Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APMP).
