Interim Accounting Manager

About the Opportunity

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a reputable Columbus employer seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for a contract engagement. This role will oversee accounting operations, support financial reporting, and provide leadership to accounting staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations

• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close

• Review reconciliations and financial reporting

• Supervise and mentor accounting team members

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting

• Coordinate external audit activities

• Maintain internal controls and compliance standards

• Drive process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Previous leadership experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of GAAP

• ERP system experience

• CPA strongly preferred

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
