About the Opportunity

A well-established, independent wealth management firm is seeking an experienced Investment Counselor / Portfolio Manager to join its team. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven investment professional who is passionate about helping high-net-worth individuals, families, and nonprofit organizations achieve their long-term financial goals through personalized investment management and financial guidance.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement customized wealth management strategies aligned with clients' financial objectives.
Create and manage asset allocation plans and investment portfolios.
Execute portfolio management strategies utilizing equities, fixed income securities, and other approved investment solutions.
Conduct investment research, analyze market trends, and evaluate company and industry data to support investment recommendations.
Monitor client portfolios, cash flow needs, and investment guidelines while responding to client requests.
Build and maintain trusted client relationships through regular meetings, reviews, and ongoing communication.
Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to provide comprehensive wealth planning solutions.
Participate in networking, business development, and community outreach activities to support firm growth.

Qualifications
7-10 years of experience in investment management, wealth management, or financial advisory services.
Demonstrated success managing relationships with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
CFA, CFP, MBA, or other relevant professional designation preferred.
Strong understanding of portfolio construction, asset allocation, and investment strategy.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.
Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, portfolio management platforms, and document management software.
Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base salary of $150,000 - $200,000 annually.
