Job Purpose and Impact The S2P Business Analyst supports the Source-to-Pay transformation program by bridging business needs and technology solutions. This role is responsible for eliciting and documenting requirements, analyzing current-state processes, and working closely with product teams, stakeholders, and suppliers to deliver high-value S2P capabilities.
Key Accountabilities
Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements for S2P processes including sourcing, procurement, and accounts payable
Develop user stories, process flows, use cases, and acceptance criteria to guide product and development teams
Analyze current-state processes and identify gaps, pain points, and opportunities for improvement
Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and agile ceremonies as the voice of the business
Facilitate workshops and working sessions with cross-functional stakeholders to align on requirements and priorities
Collaborate with the Product Manager, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure solutions meet business needs
Support required change management activities, including communications, training, and stakeholder readiness, to ensure successful adoption of new solutions/processes.
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate that delivered solutions align with defined requirements
Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation in tools such as Jira and Confluence
Identify risks, issues, and dependencies and escalate as appropriate
Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
3 5 years of business analysis experience, preferably within S2P, procurement, or supply chain environments
Strong understanding of S2P processes and systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, or similar)
Hands-on experience working within Scrum teams, including active participation in all Scrum ceremonies
Demonstrated ability to write well-defined user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria in an agile/Scrum environment
Familiarity with Scrum roles, artifacts, and events; ability to work effectively alongside a Scrum Master and Product Owner
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and process mapping tools
Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements
Bachelor s degree in business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field
Experience in Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project Planner is preferred
CBAP, PMI-PBA, Six Sigma or Agile certifications a plus
Business Systems Analyst works with an IT services team which supports a large enterprise user population. Responsible for the analysis, coordination, general use, administration, and software license solutions. Works with team Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to allocate and monitor IT resources, this includes various Software licenses. Develop and recommend solutions based on business analysis. Gather business requirements with and translate them into technical requirements to support the distribution of IT equipment ensuring that the correct equipment with the correct configuration specifications gets to the right person in accordance with IT policies, procedures, and standards. Manage 0365 application request to approval process. Project data gathering as assigned. Develop and document business case/scope/plan, business/functional requirements in IT tracking systems. Identify IT adoption opportunities for new software services. Question proposed technical solutions logic as well as facilitate discussions between the various groups. Provide Cost Analysis of invoice submission to identify cost saving opportunities. Identify and validate business objectives, and generate solutions that align with the greater strategy and IT standards. Document and assign requests/tasks to the appropriate support teams including any gathered requirements and analysis to support the fulfillment of requested software and hardware. Participate in technical projects assisting support teams. Assists in device refresh (Lifecycle) efforts. Performs asset data maintenance, generates, and analyzes reports. Generates asset tracking reports and forecasts as needed for planning and budgeting. Assists with licensing and compliance activities and reporting. Supports the growth, development, and health of the data. Ensure that quantities in the IT asset management inventory database are accurate. Generate asset tracking reports as needed by team leaders. QUALIFICATIONS. Bachelor s degree in relevant field. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365, Excel, Power BI. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills. A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in IT Asset Management related support roles. A demonstrated ability to participate in technical projects, handling day-to-day task management, prioritization, support, and providing effective communications with team members, including status reporting. Interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with management, peers, and customers via reports, email and verbal updates.
