Someone in this role would typically have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and normally possess 2-5 years of experience. This position can be hired at any level in our professional career framework, depending on business need at the time of hire.
International travel may be required. Possible straight time overtime and a 9/80 work schedule (every other Friday off)

The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of experience supporting crew survival systems
5-10 years of engineering experience supporting aerospace or human spaceflight programs.
Minimum 5 years of experience supporting crew survival systems and/or IVA spacesuit systems.
Experience supporting NASA or commercial human spaceflight programs.
Experience with IVA pressure garments, helmets, gloves, visors, restraint systems, or crew equipment.
Experience with procurement and supplier management.
Experience writing Task Performance Sheets (TPS), work instructions, engineering procedures, or test procedures.
Familiarity with engineering project planning and scheduling tools.
