Jr. BAS Project Manager – Baltimore, MD (DMV Area) – $40.00–$50.00/hr + Bonus & Benefits
About the Opportunity:
A respected Building Automation and Energy Management contractor is seeking a Jr. BAS Project Manager to support project delivery across Baltimore, Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia. This role provides exposure to major BAS, HVAC, and energy management projects in healthcare, commercial, government, and data center environments. Position Details:
Title: Jr. BAS Project Manager
Location: Baltimore, MD (serving MD, D.C., and NoVA)
Pay: $40.00–$50.00/hr
Bonus: Annual bonus tied to individual and company performance
Company Vehicle: Provided (typically available after the first 30 days, depending on inventory)
Experience: Prior exposure to BAS project coordination or similar responsibilities required

Industries: Healthcare, Commercial, Laboratories, Utilities Infrastructure, Government/Municipal, Data Centers, and Classified Facilities.
Services include: Building Automation, Energy Management, Access Control, Lighting Controls, HVAC Service, System Integration, and Utility Infrastructure projects.
Project Types: New Construction, Design-Build, Retrofits, and Modernization projects.
Responsibilities:
Assist in planning and coordinating project installations, staging, and scheduling activities.
Support project budgeting, labor allocation, and material tracking to ensure profitability.
Help prepare RFIs, change orders, and required project documentation.
Work with engineering, senior project managers, and operations teams to maintain quality control.
Engage with external engineering or design consultants when clarification is needed.
Review job cost updates and help align manpower with project milestones.
Provide customer and field technician support throughout installation phases.
Ensure projects stay on schedule, meet scope requirements, and reflect customer expectations.
Ideal Candidate:
Some experience supporting BAS projects or construction management efforts.
Solid understanding of BAS controls, HVAC fundamentals, and project workflow.
Strong communication and organizational abilities to help manage multiple tasks.
Ability to assist with technical support and contribute to maintaining project profitability.
