An innovative media company in Los Angeles is seeking a motivated, entry-level Junior Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career to gain exposure to a fast-paced, creative industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist in preparing financial reports and variance analysis
- Help ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of relevant experience (internships welcome)
- Basic understanding of GAAP
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus
