POSITION DETAILS:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic certified Elementary Teacher to join our team at Templeton Elementary. The ideal candidate will have a passion for actively educating students, a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment, and the ability to engage students through innovative and effective teaching methods.
- Candidates must hold a valid Indiana certification or license in elementary education; must be able to teach virtually if necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and state standards.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Create a positive, respectful, and structured classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Implement effective PBIS strategies and address student social emotional needs and concerns.
- Assess and monitor student progress through formal and summative assessments.
- Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding academic performance and behavior.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and administrators to support student learning and school goals.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
- Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
