Azure Palm Cafe and Bar Luna located in the Azure Palm Hot Springs Mineral Resort and Day Spa is seeking an experienced Kitchen Lead. The cafe has developed a reputation with locals and our visiting guests alike for serving healthy and delicious fare. Bar Luna is our newest addition and our focus here to start is on a Friday and Saturday night Mediterranean style small plate, beer and wine with live music evening. We are also gearing up for events such as weddings and corporate retreats and eventually evolving Bar Luna into a fine dining experience. We are looking to grow and seeking an experienced Kitchen Lead to grow with us. This position will supervise and coordinate activities of cooks or workers engaged in food preparation insuring recipes are followed and all orders are executed and consistent with our quality standards. Inspect supplies, equipment, or work areas to ensure conformance to established standards. Suggest daily specials with excess food products before throwing out as food waste. Instruct cooks or other workers in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, or presentation of food. Demonstrate new cooking techniques or equipment to staff. Have a pleasant attitude and keep a positive, nurturing work environment. There is great growth potential as our resort grows.
