Title: Production Associate
Shift: MON FRI, 6am - 3:30pm. Shift schedules could include weekends. Hours subject to business needs.
Steel Toe shoes Required

Steel toed shoes are required but we may be able to provide composite safety shoe covers if they do not have them readily available

1. Will Associate be able to stand on feet for up to 10 hours a day?
2. Will Associate be comfortable working in cold environment and going in and out of chiller room (38
F degree) during the duration of their shift? (They can wear their own jacket for warmth or client can provide a jacket for them.)
3. Earplugs/Hearing protection are provided, does Associate feel comfortable wearing hearing protection due to the noisy nature of a production environment?
4. PPE gear consist of white Lab jacket, protective glasses, helmet and shoe covers. Will Associate be comfortable wearing this?
5. Does Associate feel comfortable heavy lifting up to 50 pounds with another Associate when boxes are ready to be moved?
6. Will Associate be comfortable transferring two and four pound carts of production in and out of chillers (38
F) and flipping the trays in chillers (38
F) when needed?
7. Will Associate be able to perform other duties as assigned including transferring to Kitchen area as needed?
8. Not required for the role but is a plus, is the Associate Bilingual in Spanish?
9. Does Associate have prior food industry knowledge?
Summary / Objective Production Associate is responsible for taking direction from the supervisor in order to meet production demands while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

" Attending area of transfer from filler to chiller.
" Inform Supervisors and or Lead of any discrepancy on product information.
" Transferring carts of production in and out of chillers and placing them orderly at the WIP area.
" Orient product alignment in the Garvey table area
" Flip trays in chillers when needed.
" Reworking product that is below specifications.
" Keeping work area clean and organized, following the "5 S program.
" Promoting a safe work environment at all times.
" Follow HACCP principles and Good Manufacturing Practices. Comply with Food and Personal Safety Procedures, company Policies and regulations.
" Other duties, as assigned including transferring to Kitchen area as needed.
" Perform other duties as assigned

" Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and possess basic mathematical skills
Minimum General Requirements " Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
" Able to lift up to 50 lbs
" Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
" Able to work in noisy environments
" Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust is present
