Preferred Search Group is partnering with a privately owned dental practice in Carlsbad, CA to find a skilled and patient-focused Lead Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our growing practice. This is a leadership opportunity for a hygienist who is confident working in a fast-paced, double column hygiene environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.
What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality preventive and therapeutic hygiene care in a double column hygiene setting
- Educate patients and confidently discuss treatment recommendations
- Administer local anesthesia as needed
- Deliver adjunctive services including:
- Laser therapy
- Irrigation
- Fluoride treatments
- Recommend and tailor home care solutions such as:
- Prescription fluoride toothpaste
- Dry mouth products
- Specialty rinses
- Ensure every patient feels supported, informed, and cared for throughout their visit
- Collaborate with the clinical team to maintain efficient patient flow
Requirements
- Active California Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
- Comfortable working in a high-volume, HMO-heavy practice
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Ability to administer anesthesia
- Leadership mindset with a team-oriented approach
- Experience in a double hygiene setup preferred
- Bringing your own hygiene assistant is a plus
