Lead Mail Clerk

We are hiring for a Lead mail clerk with a leading client of ours in Fountain Valley, CA! This is a full-time position that is on-site and the main responsibilities are to manage incoming and outgoing mail, package distribution, courier services, and providing administrative support while ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and timely service delivery. Primary responsibilities and duties:

• Pick up USPS mail when required.
• Receive inbound mail and parcels from USPS and commercial carriers
• Screen, sort, process, and route incoming mail
• Electronically record and track accountable packages and other designated items
• Maintain appropriate chain-of-custody controls
• Provide electronic notification to recipients when designated packages are received and/or delivered
• Perform scheduled internal mail and parcel delivery routes
• Obtain proof of delivery when required
• Research undeliverable, unidentified, mystery, or misdirected mail and packages
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding mail and package status
