The Role We're looking for a Lead UX Designer to lead and own our user experience across mobile and web platforms. You'll be responsible for designing thoughtful, cohesive, and impactful user flows across the entire product ecosystem-including the app, website, onboarding, and in-session experiences. This is a high-ownership role where you will execute all parts of the design and development process, from initial research and brainstorming to visual design, engineering handoff, and polish delivery. You'll lead user research, craft prototypes, and bring ideas to life. Key Responsibilities Own and execute UI/UX end-to-end, on our app and website, from prototypes to high-fidelity implementation Improve and maintain our visual design system, product branding, and user interface patterns. Drive end-to-end user flows, from onboarding to in-app engagement to retention touchpoints. Conduct user research, interviews, and prototype testing to validate hypotheses and improve experiences, balancing speed and depth, with a bias to making pragmatic trade-offs to ship fast and learn. Communicate and rally engineering and product on defined design choices, collaborating with both teams to determine features, improve usability, and ship polished designs. Leverage AI-first tools to accelerate design iterations and prototype smart interactions. Contribute light front-end code (HTML, CSS) and work with content management systems to bring designs to life. Champion a culture of design excellence and continuous improvement. What We''re Looking For Experience: Proven leadership and impact in UX and UI mobile design, including significant ownership of mobile and web experiences at fast-moving startups or product-led companies. Product Intuition: Strong product sense with the ability to craft simple, elegant, and delightful user experiences that drive real outcomes Design Fluency: Mastery of Figma, rapid prototyping, design systems, and experience working with LLM-driven UX or conversational interfaces to iterate and test new ideas. AI-First Mindset: Experience with-or strong interest in-designing for AI-first products and interfaces. Research and Empathy: Skilled at conducting user interviews, interpreting insights, and turning them into actionable design changes. Execution: Comfortable pushing pixels and deploying simple layouts via HTML/CSS and CMS tools. Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to align stakeholders across disciplines and rally teams around design direction.
