In Chicago, luxury living has a name: Related Rentals. As the city’s premier luxury rental brand, we blend world-class design, hotel-level service, and curated lifestyle experiences across iconic addresses in the West Loop, Streeterville, and Lakeshore neighborhoods.

We’re looking for a service-driven Leasing Administrative Assistant to guide prospective residents through the leasing journey—from the first inquiry to move-in day at 400 Lake Shore, a landmark 635-unit luxury rental tower launching pre-leasing in 2026. In this role, you’ll share the story of the building, create a welcoming experience, and support a strong sense of community. If you enjoy connecting with people, solving problems, and taking pride in your property, this is the opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do:

Leasing & Marketing

  • Respond to new rental inquiries via email and phone, gather key applicant information, provide property details, and coordinate/schedule property tours with the onsite leasing agent
  • Highlight lifestyle features, community amenities, and neighborhood insights
  • Use CRM systems to track leads and follow up with care and attention
  • Prepare lease applications, documents, and renewals
  • Share ideas with marketing on campaigns, tour strategies, and promotions
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitors

Resident Retention & Community Engagement

  • Support smooth move-ins and move-outs with great communication and care
  • Help deliver personal touches—like welcome kits or birthday notes
  • Gather feedback and look for ways to enhance the resident experience

Building Presentation

  • Keep leasing offices, models, and amenity spaces clean and tour-ready
  • Partner with maintenance and operations to address any property needs
  • Help ensure a polished and consistent arrival experience for all visitors

Administrative & Compliance

  • Manage all leasing paperwork and files with accuracy and discretion
  • Track occupancy data and help maintain compliance with Fair Housing laws
  • Prepare audit-ready documentation and handle applications with professionalism

Operational Excellence

  • Monitor KPIs like move-in scores and lead conversions
  • Identify ways to improve leasing performance and resident satisfaction
  • Help manage online reviews and resident concerns with a solutions-first mindset

Compensation:

The anticipated hourly range for this position is listed below. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

Hourly range: $26.00 - $33.00 / hourly + commission

Why You'll Love it Here:

  • Lots of paid time off (19+ days!) – we value your life outside of work.
  • Customizable total rewards package – pick from our medical, vision and dental options, along with our life insurance and an Employee Assistance Program
