OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented legal assistant to provide essential legal and administrative support for our high-volume property tax law firm. This is a hybrid office position. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a professional demeanor. This role focuses document preparation, data entry and management, and client communication.Primary ResponsibilitiesConduct research to support client appeal filings.Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents.Investigate facts to support client appeals.Record and store client information.Perform docketing for upcoming appeals.Other tasks and projects, as assigned.RequirementsBachelor's degree (Candidates without a bachelor's degree will not be considered).Two years of office experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Professional appearance and demeanor.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Desired SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and external parties.Some legal experience is helpful but not required, as training will be provided.Compensation and BenefitsStarting Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 annually.20 days of PTO/Sick Time, up to 25 based on years#J-18808-Ljbffr
