Description

A national law firm seeks a candidate to immediately fill a Legal Administrative Assistant position in the Business Department in their Dallas office. Successful candidates for this position will generally possess 5+ years' relevant experience in a law firm. Alternatively, the candidate may be a college graduate with strong typing and technology skills.Responsibilities and RequirementsPrior experience in employee benefits & compensation, taxation, or transactional law preferred.Assist in drafting and revising legal documents for attorney review. Depending on skills and interest, this role offers an opportunity to gain meaningful exposure to the substantive aspects of the practice area.Support the business efforts of the practice group by handling multiple projects effectively; excellent communication skills and the ability to set priorities are essential.Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with management and staff.Excellent written and verbal communications skills.Demonstrated active approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.Highly resourceful team player with the ability to be extremely effective independently.Coordinate new client matters; collect and organize information and create files.Assist attorney with client billing including time entry, drafting, and generating cover letters, working with accounting department on invoices, and communicating with clients as needed.Process vendor invoices and manage attorney expense reimbursement.Ensure accurate record keeping of complex electronic and physical records.Manage timekeepers' calendars and travel plans, including setting up meetings and calls/virtual meetings and ensuring balance and coordination of calendaring, minimizing time conflicts and maximizing efficiency.Coordinate tracking of CLE for attorneys.Computer programs: Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Proficiency with software or similar program as below: Time entry (InTapp), Document Management System (iManage), Records Management system (iRM iManage Records Manager), Expenses (Chrome River), New Business Intake and Conflicts (InTapp), Time management system (UltiPro), Invoice Management (Paperless Proforma)Compensation$60,000.00 to $90,000.00 annually, plus overtime#J-18808-Ljbffr
